I didn't see anything specifically saying what hair type this is for but it is very heavy in my hair. I started on the ends and didn't go more than half way as it is very thick and heavy. I use oils in my hair almost daily and this is just not for my hair type I'm guessing. The smell is very faint but nice like a piece of fudge or sweet coated nuts or something (I can't pin point it). I think it would be better if you put it on like a mask in the evening and then shower in the morning but I won't be using it after a shower again or in the morning as it left my hair greasy looking.
