This product is meant to be used on the scalp as a leave in or an overnight treatment. I really like the way it feels on my scalp. I do have pretty oily hair, but this is something I can just put on at night and wash out in the morning. It is fragrance free, but has a light natural scent to the oil. I haven't been using it long enough to know how well it will work with long term use. It is pricey, but I don't need very much for my scalp.
